THE MODEL
Builder revenue share.
Builders keep 90%. Kanban keeps 10%.
- The 90/10 model applies only to approved Kanban Labs projects under a separate written agreement.
- Creators receive 90% of net revenue from their approved product or business line. Kanban Studios receives 10% of net revenue as a platform and operations fee.
- Net revenue means amounts actually received from customers after VAT, taxes, refunds, chargebacks, payment processing fees, third-party tools, hosting, pass-through costs, and required direct operating expenses.
- Revenue share does not create employment, partnership, co-founder status, shareholding, ownership, or guaranteed income.
- Product acceptance is subject to review, feasibility, risk, compliance, and written approval.
- Kanban does not guarantee customers, users, revenue, funding, profit, or product success.

What is Kanban Labs?
Kanban Labs is our invite-only product-rescue lab. We help builders, students, and early founders turn hackathon projects, abandoned MVPs, and prototypes into hosted software products with users, revenue, and real-world support.
Who can apply?
Builders with a working or near-working prototype - especially something built at a hackathon that never got launched. You bring the prototype; we review the idea, code, market, and launch potential, then help turn selected projects into products.
How does the 90/10 revenue share work?
On approved Kanban Labs projects, the builder keeps 90% of net revenue and Kanban keeps 10% as a platform and operations fee. It applies only to approved projects under a separate written agreement, and it does not create employment, partnership, ownership, or guaranteed income.
What kinds of projects do you accept?
Projects with a real problem and a plausible path to paying users. Agentic AI, document intelligence, computer vision, cybersecurity, and robotics builds are a strong fit. Acceptance is subject to review, feasibility, risk, compliance, and written approval.
